PAL Wii to NTSC Monitor/TV?

    Hi:

    I was asked to mod 2 PAL Wii's and was wondering if there is a way to connect a PAL Wii using my NTSC Wii connectors and power supply to either an NTSC TV or a computer monitor.

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Two people from UK want me to mod their wii's - don't know how they intend for me to do that though - shipping to me or if they will be in the US. In any case, unless I find an "easy" solution, I guess I'll try to walk them through it or find someone for them in the UK that can do it.

    Newer TV's can accept TV signals. My late 2006 Akai LCD HDTV can play PAL games natively.

    Can I hook it up to a US monitor using the composite cable? I have a lame 13 inch Audiovox NTSC tv and don't know if it will accept PAL signal...

    Just tell them to switch it to 480i before sending it to you.

    Then when you plug it into your NTSC tv you will be able to see a picture.
