PAL SNES with 60hz mod...

Hello,

I have gotten hold of a PAL SNES with a 60hz switch (and region) all seems to work fine.

Am I right in thinking that using a flashcart, and loading USA roms with 60hz turned on will provide the same experience as if I was using an American SNES? I only ask because I've read that PAL SNES's have a slower clock speed. Is this correct, and what does it mean?
