Okay, I was just sent a link to a supposed "leaked" page from the final Harry Potter book, much along the lines of the last one with the infamous (spoiler for book 6 ahead)

    "Snape kills Dumbledore!"

leaked page which ended up being real.

Thoughts? I've put the link in a spoiler box and named it Leaked page? as the web address in itself is a spoiler if this is true. So click only if you don't care about possible spoilers.

    Leaked page?

    OMG Harry dies!

... allright, I didn't read the page [IMG] and probably won't read it until I read the actual book. Only about 1 month before its release, woo!

I was highly disappointed with the last book. I only hope the last one turns out better.

I don't have a problem with it as a children's book, admittedly it's no 'The Hobbit' but as kids books go, it's not total shite.

What I do have a problem with is adults reading it, it's a children's book, aimed at people with a reading age below 16. If you're an adult and you want to read something aimed at an uneducated audience, buy a newspaper.

I had no idea I wasn't allowed to read what interests me. I can't see why people find it so hard to believe that someone over the age of 12 can like this book. Sure it's no Shakespeare, but I love the characters and the ideas being portrayed. I love the idea of this magical group of students and what adventures might pursue if such group of magical students did indeed exist.

Everyone likes what they like, but if I were to say I'm very interested in this particular farmer and his farm, so I read this book when I was out and about (on the train etc), would you not think "What on earth is he doing, that's a children's book"?

I saw this some days ago, but i can't find the source of the page. Anyone knows the first place where this page was linked?

BTW in a month we'll know if it was true or not. [IMG]

P.S. I read it, who cares about spoilers. XD

It's not an 8th book is sort a spin off, like a history of quidditch or an encylopedia of monsters of something that she's done for charity.

I love the Harry Potter books, read them for years and I'm now 15.

Books I've read lately are The Sillmarillion (JRR Tolkein), The Hobbit (JRR Tolkein) and I'm currently reading The Fellowship of the Ring (JRR Tolkein). I enjoy every book I choose to read.

If there's one thing I don't want to hear when the Harry Potter book is coming near the end is the word "spinoff". NO, JK ROWLING. YOU ALREADY GOT THE MONEY FROM THE MOVIES AND THE BOOKS AND TONS OF OTHER STUFF. JUST SPEND YOUR MONEY AND WRITE A DIFFERENT BOOK THAT ISN'T HARRY POTTER RELATED.
