Is a console big in China like a band being big in Japan? Though such a thing would probably be slightly more profitable.

I think the 64-bit K1 would be a fine chip for the Ouya 2 especially when the X1 comes out. Price and cost wise.
Maybe waiting 2 years rather than 1 per year ,which they were going for, is a good thing.

I once plotted out a 2 and a 1/2 year plan that would not feel too long over at OUYA Forum. If I was OUYA inc I would wait it out till November and bring out a K1 OUYA 2. There are no new consoles planned for that time so they could capitalize on all of the buzz.
