Hacking Other Nintendo DS rechargers

I have two other Nintendo DS rechargers (not made by nintendo). I have one car adapter, and one that is a combo of both. They won't work on my DS lite, and it even says ds lite on the package. Whenever i plug it into my DS, then it won't charge, but the light goes up for the recharger.

Please help!
