Hardware Other Logitech USB Microphones working with Wii?

I got the Logitech USB Desktop Microphone

plays perfect on the PC version of Guitar Hero World Tour, plays perfect on karaoke games like Ultrastar etc.
I've searched the web and everyone says that any logitech usb mike will work on the wii

So i connect to the USB slot, keep one wiimote free for the mike, and yet the damn game doesn't recognize it!
Not just with GHWT, but with GHMetallica and Rock Band 2 and pretty much any band game!

What gives? Is there a way to use it? My standard mike broke down after an idiot sat on it and i dont want to buy another if i can make this one work.

P.S. dunno if it helps but the green light remains off when i connect it on the wii. Maybe it doesnt get enough power? maybe if i got a 4-usb hub that has a plug of its own it will have enough power to work?

the microphone might need special drivers to work, anyways, ur screwed

no it doesnt, its plug and play.

Oh in the PC version there is a tutorial where it says if the pc doesnt recognize the mike rename it in the controllers tab.
Maybe its a renaming thing?
