So I am trying to Softmod my original Xbox: All you need for this is a working USB Stick, some cable and some files. My Xbox recognizes the USB Stick as Xbox Memory Card - good. Then I use a tool called Xplorer360 to copy my SplinterCell save games folder 5553000c to the USB Stick. Problem: The save game does not show up on the Xbox. The stick will appear empty even though Xplorer360 clearly shows me that the files are on there.
It get's worse: I can copy Save Games from the Xbox to the USB Stick and the XBox will recognize them but they won't show up on Xplorer360, it will think the stick is empty.
So what can I do to make my save games show up on the Xbox?
I am using the latest version of Xplorer360 which is version 0.9. It was missing a dll msvcr71.dll which I just googled and placed in the folder. I am pretty sure I have copied the folder correctly. Just a drag and drop of the entire folder, I also tried to create the folder by hand but that also did not show up.
