I have an elite 360 with a liteon drive flashed with LT. All of the reading I have done states that it should read original xbox backups. From what I understand, just burn or is there something special that needs to be done? I tried Lego Star Wars 2 which is on the compatible list and it says : This original xbox game has encountered an error and cant continue. X:5829.0 B: 1884.0 I burned it on dvdr using imgburn at 4x. Any help is appreciated!

They have to be full rips and burnt to a dual layer. Old backups made for the original xbox won't work without a lot of messing around.

not necessarily. they have to be 1:1 rips of the original. that means nothing taken out, such as dashupdate.xbe. might be a bit difficult, as files like this were often taken out to save space.

I very much doubt that you'll find many 1:1 rips of original xbox games, so you'll probably have to rip them yourself using Xbox 360 Backup Creator which allows you to do 1:1 rips of both original xbox and 360 discs, and you'll also need a compatible drive such as the Samsung SH-D162C.

Heres a tutorial for Xbox 360 Backup Creator.
