hello i just want to know

if i have a fully up to date jap wii will, it play an original copy of a ntsc u of SMG?

yes it would, but it actually give you duplicate channels unless you use a freeloader for blocking the update

would the game still update even if i was to update it via the internet?

would it update even if you had a newer firmware version already installed?

I'm not sure, but I think if you had 3.1U_v3 and a 3.2J Wii, it would update (ie NTSC mario kart). Someone please correct if this is wrong.
