My original nintendo ds model have both lcd of a bluish color, instead my other original ds have correct white color. Colors are all there BUT the tone is on blue and not on white.

i have replaced and tried another new lcd and a new ribbon cable and the problem remain the same, on both lcds. What can be?

thanks

IIRC that's normal, mine was also like that. Your other DS might be one of the rare ones that has 4 brightness levels in hardware, making it more like a DS lite, which could explain the difference.

no, don't have 4 levels, only on off. later i will post photos
The 4 levels things needed to be activated by a custom firmware like Flash, not the stock firmware which will just do the two. Most people don't seem to install Flashme any more so you might not know.

I can't recall people mentioning it before.
Plenty of people with a yellow tint/cast, especially from the earlier batches, but nobody that I can recall mentioning blue. Unless you are used to the yellow variety and are now experiencing the reverse issue, especially as these last few years warm white LEDs have come on the market and you might then be quite used to them.
