Uhm.

This is pointless.

Just use the Opera browser and order food online from restaurants that have websites, and that have the option to order online.

Ex: Pizzahut o.o

EDIT:

Yeah, person above me beat me to it D:

This isn't that revolutionary. You can order pizza online from most of the big chains now, this is essentially the same thing.
Its not suppose to be revolutionary. Its just trying to give Japanese users no reason to go outside or off their coach (or seat?) for that matter. Think about getting the news, weather, food, in the future tv, tv guide, games, and online interaction with people in front of your tv. No one reason to leave. All it needs is another peripheral for your wiimote with a hole on it to have sex with and your set.

You basically captured everything I was going to post, except for the last sentence.

That'd be crappy. Technology is cool, but leaving aside real world for it is something only people that haven't tasted the pleasures of life would do.

Meh, I'd say it's better to just use the phone. If you're in the middle of a game, it's a lot easier to call them (while the game is still running) than to quit the game and switch to the... food channel.

is that even possible?

I highly doubt it.

Just a figure of speech probably meaning,

Everyone is making programs to do stuff you can easily do by driving and walking etc, but instead they're making programs usable straight from your house so you don't have to get up and walk etc.

Unless they mean if they order a lot of food and...yeah o.o

@SnowStormAkikaze, Yes. Cross-compatibility with the Original Switch games will work with the Switch 2.

@BigOnYa, Maybe. Depends if Nintendo wanted to expand the lifespan of the console. But with every console that they release, it usually gets discontinued after 10-12 years.

Support from big n may stop aka new firmwares, but devs will prob continue making games for it as long as sales are good.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
New firmwares are only there to prevent piracy/softmodding hardware, they do not "enhance the user experience" as they claim so on and so forth. And if they decide to add new features to the system via firmware updates, then it's quite rare.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Games are still released on PS4\ XboxOne, so I imagine will be same scenario.

I have a feeling big N has a extra trick up they sleeve to prevent piracy this time w Switch 2. (Lotus 4 maybe) So the new games can't be dumped, even w a dump tool. (Mig dumper)

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
It would have to be extra security measures in the Switch 2 gamecarts that will be different from the OG Switch carts. So, for example, Switch 2 gamecarts will not work with the Switch, because it has a different ASIC. Game partitions and layout to a Switch ROM will be the same, but has extra flags in the ROM header info that only the Switch 2 will recognise.
