So... how do I get rid of those nasty wirms?

I'm not a noob, currently lvl 24. I just can't think of any way to kill them other than using batriders which almost never work and are expensive, unreliable and have no other use than destroying buildings->fleeing or suiciding against flying units. So if they change strategy amidst the game and I've only got a LOT of batriders, then I'm fucked

make raiders and then give them the upgrade for ensnare, then just ensnare their wyrms and own em.

That never works for me :/ They're too weak for the wirms even with blood thirst from shamans... Actually they're my favourite unit but they just won't be enough. Also, ensnare seems to work for a shorter time in wirms than it does on most units (a little more than in heros, but not much more)... So, that's what I do, usually, but it won't work still...
