I've never beaten ocarina of time when I was younger and now I want to play it.

Would you recommend getting the Virtual Console Version or the Gamecube one?

I should of asked this beforehand but, Does the Wiiware version look as crisp as the GCN version, Can I use the Gamecube controller to play the WW ver?

And say theoretically I had a rom of the .GCN Version, on a fully modded Black Wii, would I be able to burn it to a DVD-R and play it via say usb bootloader gx?

Go for the GC one. It also includes Master Quest.

You should play the Wiiware version.
    And the reasons are:

    - Faster loading times.
    - The ability to quit your game anywhere, anytime and pick it from the exact same spot the next time by using the home button on your wii to go back to the system menu.
    - Support for 480p, I'm not too sure on this one, but I think to remember that the GC version didn't have it, while most Wiiware releases do, therefore the digital version should have crispier graphics.

After all is said and done, I actually replayed and finished OT after nearly ten years on my PC using PJ64 , true widescreen settings and a hi-res texture pack with a real N64 controller.
If your PC has enough power, and you have a PS2 like controller,it doesn't get much better then that.

Both are good options as long as you finish this great game, it really depends of the controller you're using, and if you prefer faster loading times or rumble...
By the way, your topic is kinda misspelled: oRcarina...

GC ver I think did 480p too, but regardless the game isn't hacked a bit due to the lack of rumble so that's a plus as well. Sure you got to get your lazy ass up to put in a memory card and a disc, but I think the trade off is there, plus you also get MASTER QUEST which isn't included on the Wii. So you buy 1 game and get 1 free, or just buy 1 game and that's it.
