Options on moving on an ambassador 3DS XL loaded with games

I have a very nice New 3DS XL loaded with around 40 games including most of the top titles which were all purchased, as well as the ambassador certificate and games (its not hacked).
I am thinking of moving it on and know about resetting etc. but I wondered what harm can be caused by selling with the account still attached. As I understand it, there is no password showing on there nor payment info and all the new user could do is redownload software already on it since the eshop closed (or am I overlooking something).
I know they could reset it (or even hack it to get the games), but it seems a shame to lose hundreds of pounds worth of legit bought software on a nice machine, it even has the hard to find official cradle.

Any suggestions, or is it just as case of keep it or lose all the games?
For reference, I also have a Vita OLED, Switch OLED and PS5 too. Not a big gamer anymore (more of a gadget magpie) and considering replacing the handhelds with a newer retro handheld or Steam deck for when I fancy some gaming.

I bought a second-hand Ambassador 3DS. When I upgraded to a n3DS, I did an official system transfer and the Ambassador certificate came too. AIUI it's tied to the console rather than the NNID.

Not sure about other installed games. But I don't think it can do you any harm if there isn't any personal info.

But I don't really see how you could keep the games yourself if you won't have a 3DS at all [Edit: Now I see the OP probably meant that it would be a shame for the new owner not to make use of the games, not that they want to sell the console but keep their own access to the games].

Maybe you can ask for more money for it to take account of the installed content. There are going to be a limited number of consoles that have the Ambassador certificate legitimately.

Thanks, I am consoled to the fact that, once sold, I will not be playing the 3DS games again. I just want the Switch games accessible. It was fun building up the collection as I played the games, but I am not a retro collector in any way.
