No, the screen is too small. It's problematic on 480*320. On 320*240 it's hardly playable. The DS has even less than that. The next problem is CPU power: On 200 Mhz ARM it got choppy with many units. The DS probably couldn't handle too much. All in all, you don't really want it, unless someone puts a real LOT of work into it, using both screens for an optimized interface. (Map & detail, switchable with a button, menus and all windows optimized for the screen size, ... It'd be an awful LOT of work.)
