Openions on my situation PLEASE FAST!

Ok going on a trip tomorrow. I had order something for the tip and it is supposed to arrive today!

Moved recently and accidentally put old address on box! (not very far away about 10 minute drive)

SO! Do you think they will catch the mistake and deliver it to my new house because we filled out a change of address forum, or they will figure it out after they try to deliver it and it will get here tomorrow after I have left?

ARGH!

I want to know if I should try to drive to my old house and wait for it there!

It requires a signature!

have you tried telephoning the company and asking them what address they sent it to?

The USPS telephone is useless it is just an automated system and I tried and cannot get a person.

If it's shipping USPS, they might catch it at the PO and send it to the new address. They might not. I moved recently, and some stuff gets forwarded, some stuff doesn't.

So you know when the mail arrives at your old house. Go check it out. If it arrives, you'll have it. If it doesn't arrive, return home and wait for your mail. If it doesn't arrive in your mail, go to the Post office before it closes and tell them your situation. They might have it there, waiting for delivery tomorrow because of the change of address issues.

Well I went to old place, and mail had already been delivered at new place and no package. Old place no mail guy showed up and mom needed car back...
