Gaming Open Topic for Help on Pokemon P/D

If everyone wants to help people around the game please do so (lol espescially the ones that can't read Japanese).

Here's what I know as of now:

You can easily get to first big city in this game, but you are blocked going to the cave and west gate(nothing there).
-Talk to the three clown guys for tickets
-Talk to the man in the middle just circling around (gives you the poketchi(right?))
-Battle your blonde rival at the east gate

and that's how far I got in the beginning..

Anyone want to add please free to do so.

In order to fight the second gym leader, you have to take out ALL of the other trainers.

Anybody got any clue how to take out gym leader 4's gyrados? Nothing I have will do the job. Could I maybe beg for a quick trade for something that will work?

i talked to everyone 3 times and still nothing, im stuck, in the mean time i'm train my mukkubird, monkey evo and the electric...w.e

help me please i want to go further now, enough trianing...

If you cannot get into the house with the windmills, go to the upper left corner of the village with all the flowers. Its easy to miss since it doesnt really look like an entrance into a forest but its there.

Wow how strange. Thanks for the tip anyway, i'll try to do like this. Anybody know what are the specialities of Gym Leaders (Fire, Steel, Poison etc.) especially the first one ?

Yeah, it plays like any pokemon game...although I just tried doing a Pokemon Contest and let me tell you...that was confusing as hell!

They have a dancing competition section of the contest in addition to the usual, very funny.
You can also dress up your pokemon with these items before you start the contest....don't know how that affects things.

There were only two parts in the entire game that drove me mad for not knowing Japanese, but now if you ask for help you'd get it unlike when I did it (I was one of the first players to reach that part.)

ok im on the 2nd badge and i have BEAT EVER TRAINER i have walked to all the towns up until the second gym badge and still no guy inside the gym plz help =D

To those who are concerned, it seems that the latest M3 firmware (V29) fixes the save problem in Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.

Where you got the Rock Climb HM? Where I got the Fog Clear HM?

Anyone have a list of HM's and about their locations?

EDIT: OK I just need the Fog Clear! Anyone?

Walk another round in the gym, you have to beat them all to see the gym leader
