Open heel fins vs full foot fins

Hey swimmers and divers,

Which type of fins do u like the most? Open heel fins or full foot fins?

For me, i like open heel ones because you can put ur foot on your fins easily.

Open heel fins

Full foot fins

I'd prefer full heel then, so I'd feel more secure in it.

I tried fins once, I failed. I could never figure them out.
Although to be honest, I am not a fan of water. I don't float and I am not a very good swimmer because I sink pretty much as soon as I stop.
