Install your games as .cia, remove the gateway cart after booting. You'll get a huge increase in battery life.

Apparently the red card is very consuming on the battery, installing the games as .cia means to install it directly to the home screen in emunand, meaning you don't need the red card in there while playing the game. You still however need the red card to get into Gateway mode hence "remove after booting"

Yes, you can. Just rename the extension to .bin

Guys if you use OoT you have to delete the savedata from one of the best game for 3ds.

guys, how can i tell if i am on gateway mode? settings doensnt have the GW. but i clicked on the "boot gateway mode" im on 8.1J using cubic ninja on a sky3ds if relevant
