here's a quick question. how many people outside america, uk and the developed countries have at least a 2Mbps connection?

i doubt even 10% of tanzania has 1 Mbps (the common people that is)
Who cares.
This comes up in nearly all the OnLive threads.

OnLive is for people with decent speeds, which is obvious.
People with slow speeds should just stay jelly in quiet.

We did it!! Now everyone has 72 hours to use promo code [99CENTS] to get Batman: Arkham Asylum for under a buck. Since we still have time till the original deadline, let’s keep the momentum going! How about this? For every additional Facebook fan we get by Monday Midnight, we’ll donate $1 to Child’s Play, the amazing charity that brings the joy of gameplay to hospitalized children everywhere. Thanks everyone!

Yet there is still another worthy goal.
If there are others who haven't 'liked' OnLive yet, I ask you to do so.
I believe Child's Play is a charity that gamers like us can and should get behind.
Hell, if anything, like them for now and remove it after Labor Day.

if it says your code is invalid make sure you are buying the correct game, Arkham Asylum and not Arkham City, also make sure you entered your billing info on the onlive site

Is there a way to try it, if you live outside US? I mean, you can only choose between US and Canada on the billing info. Wondering if it's safe just by putting some US address or something like that. Has anyone else tried it?

I don't think so and even if there was, the games would play horribly over such a long distance I'd think.

Side note, the Arkham Asylum code definitely works, I just bought it myself for a whole whopping $.69 (members discount is 30% off). Also got AC: Brotherhood with it for like $11.20 (for some reason the discount didn't apply here).

Actually, I have a free account and I've tried a few free trials (including Batman AA and Dirt 3), and they work fine most times. I live in Mexico, and of course, seems I need to be the only one using Internet on my house while playing lol, but I'm surprised how playable the games are. That's why I'm wondering if there's a way to buy the game, but seems not

the 11.20 is with your 30% discount already applied, its like $18 without

correction

its normally 39.99, its 60% off to make it $16, 30% of $16 is 4.80 which makes it 11.20

Ah, it just said the members discount was deducted in the Arkham Asylum purchase but it didn't say so for the Brotherhood one.

Thanks for the info, either way it's a great price.
