I just have one or two last ideas on getting the 32X to work on the RetroGen Adapter just to be safe before I buy a separate Genesis/Mega Drive & 32X. Oh, and I guess the theories might also make the Sega CD compatible with it.

    Theory #1:
Would it be feasible to just open it up and replace the clone hardware with real hardware? Maybe it would have to go more in depth into the circuitry than that but otherwise I wonder if you could perform a hack like replacing the Genesis-On-a-Chip or making it go to the Genesis hardware instead of the GOAC.

    Theory #2:
Could you give the RetroGen Adapter a socket for the 32X cable? I know it's emulation but perhaps it could still be possible to hack into the RetroGen's own audio/video area or some area that's related to the sprite layer of the Genesis (The 32X Cable would give the Genesis the 32X sprite layer).

It's a clone, It most likely will never work. Just buy a megadrive.
