Hacking one nand backup copy for another wii? Is it OK?

I have two wii, one is 3.2U , the other 3.1U. they both update to 4.0U now.

one wii 3.1U has a virgin nand backup, the other one 3.2U only has a nand backup after make so many softmod.

Is it possible to apply the virgin nand backup to another wii to make it clean virgin wii?

not directly. you have to swap some files, not sure which ones.

there's a tool that can put one wii's nand-dump into another wii. bad thing is that it doesn't handle bad blocks, so if an important IOS get written (or fail to) to a bad block, it won't function properly. I wouldn't recomment it, though, unless the new wii have 0 bad blocks.

I'd suggest that ^^^^^^^^^ done it myself even removed bootmii boot2 and updated to 4.2 and formatted console and started fresh
