what is difference between these two newly release pokemon games? they seem to be identical, but they say stuff about different colors.
do they differ in story? in combat? whats difference between them? is Emerlad a codename for it protagonist?

some pokemon are exclusive to pearl and you cant get them in diamond, vice versa..

Its exactly like Red and Blue. Different pokemans for each game

Think of it like a sports game, the newer one will ahve better graphics, newer players, more features, but is pretty much the same game.

They should just release one game with all the past places like Kanto and Hoenn and so on, with all the damn Pokemon in it. It would sell much better, and would last much longer, and people would actually (might) finish the whole damn Pokedex!!

That would be a dream come true, since I enjoyed going to the R/B world in the G/S games.

as far as i know, the newer ones released at same time so what is the difference between them? i mean two games realease at same time, they are identical in graphics. does the main hero differ? or what?

In Pearl the bad guys are trying to take over all of space
In Diamond the bad guys are trying to take over all of time
Same story just different objectives. The main reason for buying different games is a) Tradition and b) Some Pokemon are only available in one game so to get it in the other you have to trade.
