Ya, I do I was just jking! lol! As a matter of fact, I'm secretly hoping we'll regain arm9 acces. For 1 of my younger sisters sake & other unlucky people. This for a downgrade to 9.2 etc. My sister recently got a brand new N3DS XL & it was on fw 11.0.0-33:ohnoes: & since a hardmod is a big NO for her, she'll be stuck with it if she can't return it.

Oh, okay. Got it! :rofl: Anyway, even though I don't require another arm9 exploit (A9LH master race and all that), I still think it'll be beneficial for situations like the one described in your post and for the 3ds scene in general.

She doesn't want to & near us we don't know anyone who can do a hardmod, nor does she have the funds for it. It's also her first 3ds, so she also won't let anyone she doesn't know touch it & she probably can still return it to the shop & get her money back & then buy a new 1 elsewhere.

Here we luckily have a cooldown period of 14 days when you buy expensive things (over €50,-) & regret it/ don't want it etc.

As her cooldown period isn't over yet I told her it's better if she tried to return it, so there's still a chance the shop will take it back. If it gets tampered with you can't return it, ofcourse nor would I advise her to do so had it been 2nd hand/used extensively.
You can only check if it's working properly & there's also 2 years warranty. She only wants to use some ds mode flashcard, maybe cheats for non online games? & also use it as legit possible. She doesn't have any knowledge about exploits etc. So in the end I'm the one she expects to install cfw & explain the simple things etc.>.<'
