Awww... Isn't he cute?
mmmm gummy worms....
No eyes = No cute.
It has eyes! But they have no pigments, so they're white, thus hard to see. The olm lives in dungeons etc. so it doesn't have contact with the sun.
No pigments = Not cute
Nah, it´s kinda cute..reminds me the good Jim
It even has its own game:
EDIT: LAWL! Same time post about Jim!
Yeah, I remember it. Earthworm Jim 2, stage "Villi People" (or "Jim's now a Blind Cave Salamander!") Oh I love that game...
We have that in Croatia too
It's called the "human fish" here... because it's pink and fleshy, I guess...
Hahahaha, I can't believe it. In Slovenia, they feed us bullsh*t, that Proteus is Slovenian-ONLY animal. That underground grottos appear ONLY in Slovenia. That 'potica' (or Nut Roll) is a Slovenian-ONLY desert. Gosh, I have to puke.
And we call it the human fish too.
P.S.: 400 years ago, people believed there are dragons living in the underground grottos (due to the sounds of underground rivers). People actually brave enough to go in there found olms and they thought they are baby dragons. Nobody dared to go in there anymore until the 19th century.
It's now a tourist attraction.
Mmmmm... potica... ("orahnja?a" here)...
There's a similar newt foetus creature in the caves of Mexico (forgot the name).
