Oldest thing you own.

Man made -- pointing at a rock you own and saying ?? million years is not going to play here.

Anyway so I was buying things at a car boot sale (probably not a major surprise to any followers of http://gbatemp.net/threads/things-you-recently-bought-or-got.347639/ ) and chucked a book onto the pile. Turns out it was from the 1830s

Considering it was some 30 before origin of species the level of science on display is actually quite impressive, I am not much of a biologist/botanist but it has been pretty good reading thus far.

I figured that is then probably the oldest thing I own and now we have this thread.

I have a fossil from the Mississippian subperiod of the Carboniferous period. It's probably around 340 million years old. If that doesn't fly, I've got some ancient Roman coins.

My mum gave me this when I was 19.

A Timex Sinclair 1000 personal computer.

She never used it, and neither did it.

Apparently it came out in 1982 in Canada - it's one year older than I am!

The Luthier said it was made around 1920.

Maybe I have oldest things (books, or money?) but the violin is the only one I saw recently and can remember.

Hmm; this is a bit of a difficult question off the top of my head...
I would say the oldest thing I own would be this tiny nickel-iron meteor from the late 1900s. (1970-something, I think?)

Other than that, probably some 1990 retro stuff...
