Hacking Old XL 9.2 transfer to New 3DS @9.0 without updating. Possible?

So. I have these two devices. I have a copy of cubic ninja. I have an old R4 3DS that's been useless for a while.... and i'm wondering if i'll need to order up a gateway

Basically, for now, I'm just interested in getting everything transferred over to my new one. But keeping both on hackable firmwares.

Also have a new Majora's mask cart, and i'm not sure what updates that requires... but hopefully both can be on 9.2 and all my games... data and streetpasses will be on my shiny new (eu small unit) black 3DS.

Oh. And everything's UK bought/EU region.

no way to do it unless we get a gateway release with emunand......if your into hardware modding you might consider doing that getting a 9.0 backup, then updating to 9.5 in the meantime, then you can do a system transfer, play your games, and revert back once gateway release the update

(worth mentioning there is no confirmed nand pinout for the standard n3DS atm)

but yeah MM only requires 7.1 iirc, so your good to play that on the n3ds while you wait

Okaaaay.

So... no way at present. That was expected But surely emunand will eventually come for 9.5 and for new 3DS. I'll sit on it until then.

Pretty much Wii-U obsessed at the moment anyway. No tiems (snorts) for the 3DS.
