So, as the title says, my old hacked n3DS XL is no longer bootable, but the microSD card with everything (luma folder, all NTR stuff, Nintendo 3DS folder with games inside it, etc.) is still intact. I clearly can't do a system transfer, but is there a way on a new hacked n3DS XL to "restore" everything, to avoid having to reinstall all my games (both official and custom) all over again? Hacking the new one is no problem, so is there a homebrew out there that can make this process much easier?

On the flip side, I'm pretty sure the mainboard in the old n3DS XL is okay, it's the other components (ribbon cables, etc.) that are messed up. Would it be safe to simply transplant it into a new n3DS XL?

A board transplant would probably work just fine. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to decrypt the old SD in any way.

What do you mean by no longer bootable? Maybe it can be fixed.
