Hacking Old Gba flash cart saves

Hi there

I'm about to get an M3..very excited. But one thing worries me. I have an old EZF flash cart, with a lot of old save game states from it. I was wondering if it's possible to use those save states with the new M3. The save extensions were .sav if that helps...

Regular saves, they'll work, save states, not as likely

do i need to change the extension of the old save file from .sav to .dat? or how does that work? do i need to find a program to convert it?

Use the M3 Game Manager's built-in Save Manager to import .savs -> .dat
