Hacking Old 3DS XL won't turn on after updating B9S

I've been trying to figure this out yesterday all day and night to a point that I forgot where it all went wrong. It might have been in Section 2 or Section 4 when trying to follow the step by step of updating B9S. Now it doesn't even want to turn on anymore with or without a SD card. I tried updating godmode9 and luma3ds but came up empty, is there something I'm doing wrong?

Does it boot if you put the boot.firm from this .7z file in the root of your SD card?

If not, what about this one?

First, to be clear, is the blue light coming on for a second before the 3DS turns off?

Second, try downloading Luma3DS v7.1 and putting boot.firm onto the root of your SD card? It could be that your B9S wasn't updated.

Third, you aren't on 11.8, are you?

I tried all your suggestion and I'm still in the same spot, and also yes I'm in 11.8 is that bad?

If you're on 11.8, then you need the latest Luma3DS nightly. See above.

I tried them both and nothing changed it still gives me the same result it just blinks blue when I turned it on and fades away. It's alright I don't want to dwell with this issue anymore and want to move on. Thanks for the help tho!
