Gaming Okami's being released in 9 more days.

So who's looking forward to this game? I am. The artwork has definitely caught my attention. I was watching some gameplays on youtube and it looks very compatible with the wiimote.

I did a bit more research (yes, I tend to research a lot about a game before actually playing it

) and it got nice ratings despite it not being that well known.

Anyways, I was going to play this on the PS2, but it's out in 9 more days. Might as well try it on the Wii instead. So who else is looking forward to it?

I never got to play the PS2 one even though I really wanted to so I'll definitely play the Wii version.

It was very Zelda-like, and I enjoyed playing it more than Twilight Princess (the light/dark world thing is getting really old...).
IIRC the PS2 version took me ~40 hours to complete. A DS version would need to be seriously scaled-down, which would take away a lot from the game.

Anyway, I think Okami is good enough to warrant another playthrough on the Wii.

i loved this game, have it on the ps2 and beat it. i actually preferred to TP to be honest. i don't think i'll be getting the wii version though, i don't think i really can be bothered to play through it again.

I almost bought the ps2 version the other day when i realized this is coming out for wii. would much rather pirate and try this out before buying. Sounds like my kind of game.

overrated? pfft, nah halo is overrated but this ain't, no way near, in fact when it was first released on the ps2 it didn't get the attention it deserved which is a shame, zelda fans who never played it the first time should play the Wii version when it's released

well apparently the wii version isn't as good as the ps2 version, as it's getting lower scores - the wii controls aren't done very well, which is a shame as they did a great job on RE4
