Well, I came home from school today to learn that my uncle has thrown all my stuff in the corner. Why? Because my room was messy. In the pile of things in the corner was my DS Lite. Now, of course, the DS is screwed up (blotches and lines on the screen). I need a website where I could buy a new DS Lite, because me and my friend are having trouble finding them where I live. Any help?

He'd better be paying for the replacement. Admittedly it's an accident, but if he won't admit responsibilty for destroying a £100 piece of equipment then that's just plain childish.

I'd kick his ass, but I live with him. He's a very domineering person and the whole family hates him, but I'm 13 and therefore can't do anything. Oh yeah and he also claims he didn't break. Although he just threw it in the corner, hmm...I wonder who did it then, it worked fine yesterday...that old bastard.

Since i am a parent, let me ask you this, what did your parents say about the issue? Also, why is he throwing your room around?

Locks are not a good thing at your age, but you need to set some boundries to your personal stuff. Also, if your uncle is your primary caregiver, has he set rules on the cleanliness of your room?

Then there is the issue of leaving expensive electronics on the floor to be trampled. My daughter who is 7yrs old does not leave her gba and ds on the floor, for the fear of damage.

Personally he should man up and at the very minimum pay for 1/2 of new unit.

I think you should attempt to talk to him, and explain how much DSs cost. If he still says he didn't break it, ask him who else would break it.
If that fails, stab him repeatedly in the eye with a stylus.

Believe me, I've talked to my uncle...he says he didn't break it. Oh and of course I don't leave my stuff on the ground, I have a small case of OCD! Welp, I gotta buy a new one myself. I mean, if he wants me to clean me room, he can ask me. He doesn't have to throw my shit in the corner!...

as apposed to "buying" a new DS lite you could call Nintendo customer service and have them send you a brand spankin new DS lite for $50 the customer service is very good and takes about 6 days to get there. the phone number should be at the back of the DS.

I don't understand why Nintendo would sell you another DS so cheap. It's not like the warranty holds as it wasn't faulty from manufacture. Or is Nintendo America just better than Nintendo Australia?
