If so it should go well, i bought the wiiclip+wiikey solder on, triwing pack. (from modchipcentral) works great with my wii... though i got it at launch
Open it up and have a look. If the legs are cut, you'll need to grind back the IC to install a wiikey (ewwww). In this case, you'd be best off with a d2pro9 or a wasabi.
Why would you get the d2c solderless wii clip if you have D2B? Not only would you not need it, but you couldn't use it. Just get a wiikey, or even a yaosm if you're fun
Stop failing. I've been away from the "Wii scene" and even I know the WiiClip has different templates to be used on different mod chips. Hell the user even linked you to what he was buying.
my mistake, i just never thought d2b would need a 'template' for those few easy points. A bit of work when soldering is fun
Well I got mine in April of 2007 if that makes any difference. Didn't the cuts start coming out like in June of 2007 or so?
Yeah, I am thinking later my and my brother should just open the Wii to get experience. Thanks for helping me out. I will report and problems or anything.
