but does this mean you have to buy the retail game if its 3.5 and jailbreak is only good for old games or does it work for 3.5 isos and if not , r they working on this or is there some kind of patch for the iso thanks

You will probably have to but the newer games until a patch 3.5 firmware is developed. About your question at the pawnshop. I looked a the playstation3 and there was a tag on there about when the pawn shop acquired it. There was a date on there of July 7, 2010. I new that the new 3,5 update had just came out and being that the tag had a date of July, i knew that it probably wasn't updated to th latest firmware. It's a gamble but if you try to look for some sort of tag on the ps3 that the pawn shop has put on there or ask them when they acquired the ps3. Then you can do the math. the one i purchased had fw 3.01 installed on it.
