Okay so basically I JUST softmodded and I have no idea what I'm doing. I followed this tutorial ]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAJ5zp6brxo and tried to launch a gamecube backup. There were a few issues:
    1) Gamecube Backup Launcher (GCBL) just went to a green screen and reset my Wii. (I ended up fixing this issue.)
    2) NeoGamma says "No Disc (n)" when I try to run the gamecube backup.
    3) After fixing the first issue GCBL just starts up into the screen where it tells you to press A,B,X, or Y and no matter how many times I press any button nothing happens.

I have NO idea what to do and the only thing I could think of was to maybe redo the whole softmodding process, but everywhere I see talk about it there is a high risk of bricking(or it is at least implied). I've literally been working on this for 10 hours and I've got nothing, someone please help me.

    Wii Version is 4.3u

Try using Dios Mios instead, coupled with wiiflow mod 522 to run GC back ups via usb as well.

    http://code.google.com/p/diosmios/

Read up and download the wad, install with the wad manager of your choice (i use MMM)

Alright I'll try it out when I wake up, but if it isn't too much hassle could you post more options for me to try out just in case? I've kind of lost all hope so lot's of options would raise the chances I guess. (4 a.m. over here)

If issues persist, use ModMii - it will prepare all the IOS'es you might've missed.

Is your Wii black/red? Some Wiis released after I THINK MID 2008 or 2009 can't read Backup discs.

If you've got an External HDD or SD card, you can load GC games off them. Just use DIOS MIOS or DIOS MIOS Lite
