Hey guys and gals,
as much as I appreciate your effort and your intention, I don't believe it is a good idea to have a "best staff member of the year" award. It's got nothing to do with me being rewarded or not, it's just that the entire staff team has been working hard, and none of the staffers deserves to stand above the others.

I'm sure you all have. But that doesn't mean the members of your site don't have an opinion as to who their favorite staff member is.
This is a competition, after all, and the whole point behind a competition is to have people stand out over everyone else. If one staff member has done enough to deserve such a title, then let him have it!

This is a friendly competition, hopefully no one here will think any less of the rest of the staff team just because one was chosen as this years best.
