Where can I download. I searched at r4ds.com but no succes.......................????
this trim tool is on there site.
Their; and no, it isn't. Welcome to 2006.
have you guys even tried it without retrimming ? no need to get your knickers in a knot, it works fine with r4 commander trimmer
NDSTokyoTrim is a nice one that doesn't mess with the wifi. I too can't find this Trim Tool 2.0.
Yeah the R4/M3 Commander trimmer works great!
Yes the R4DS ROM Trim Tool, so what if it was made in 2006 its the one I linked too and it is on THEIR site. oh. Ausome; and your welcome.
i use that one, its freakin awesome, use it
they just updated.
So do I. It's one of the best trimmers out there.
Just because the readme says to use their official trimmer, it doesn't mean that's the only one that works for download play.
Many thanks for those links
I was wondering where it was
Is it really worth trimming ?
I mean, how much space can you actually save with it ?
If (for example, I don't know cos I haven't tried it yet) you're only going to get 1 to 2 extra games on a 1Gig memory card it seems like an awful lot of time to spend to achieve so little gain.
Anyone got any mindblowing figures for us ?
Well i went from 1.03 GB to 900Mb, So it really Makes it worth the hassle...
Thanks for the info
that really does sound worth doing then
I remember trimming one game and it saved me a whooping 50 MB. Can't remember the title though.
I'd just like to point out that the M3DS Simply Rom Trimmer that they've been distributing since the launch of the product (I've had it since Jan '07) is in fact the exact same program as the "new" 2.0 R4DS Trimmer. That's right, exactly 24.576 bytes each, same logo, and same 188.8.131.52 version number in Windows properties. In fact, you may also note the "R4DS ROM Trimmer MFC Application" under the description - on both files So it seems that while the R4 team is always pushing out their firmware first, it was the M3 side of the equation that gave us the "proper" trimmer to begin with.
read here if you want to know how good the official trim 2.0 works compared to other trimmers.
old news, its now in the download section: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?download=864
