The cause of the websites downfall is unknown

If something indeed does happen with this, they maybe still support the Switch in some way, but with new products and labels. But who knows, with all the heat, it would be very difficult yet.

I for one, hope this does come true.

Team has announced it has no plans to develop or sell software but will offer SX OS support and possibly develop homebrew non piracy related

If by support they mean that the SX OS will be updated to current and future OFW's, lots of folks will be very happy, me included.

Unfortunately, they have no plans to develop cfw.
They might make non piracy based homebrew
