This is fantastic news! Retrix is great, but I much prefer the official one.

It appears so, I can see the core option. I am not sure how to download it though. it has something to do in online updater. But I am not sure how to use it. I just compiled the code.

Also it appears that you need to click backspace instead of escape to exit current menu. If you click escape, the entire app closes

Does anyone know how you are supposed to download the cores normally?

Backspace? do I need to use a keyboard? I'm updating my Xbox now (it's been awhile since i last used it) then I'll be able to try it out :)

Oh I was referring to PC. I haven't tested it on xbox yet. It is updating

I am just trying to understand how to install cores. because I see options like dolphin, beetlepsx, etc. But I am not sure how to install them, and then load them

I asked in the youtube comments as well for the video

I think I know why:

This is on the GitHub post he made. We just have to load the cores manually in the folder before installing on xbox one. That should not be a problem. I just need to understand how to do it

You can ask here https://github.com/libretro/RetroArch/pull/7834
It doesnt look like online updater works for now. I think the cores HAVE to be packaged up with Retroarch.

Does anyone know how to download the cores at build time? He says that is how you load cores

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I guess all we need is to copy the core content to appx content folder, according to his post

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Does anyone know where I can find the normal windows cores? I might have figured it out
