I made a test earlier today -> I used "CustomizeMii" to change the starting IOS
from 58 to 35 of this forwarder (v9) then tested again (both HDs with 2 partitions:
FAT32 and NTFS). The result was I can load CFG (v67c or v68a3) successfully
from the forwarder for either HD.

Not sure why I got this kind of "strange" result.

OK this is very interesting, I will try it out, maybe your drive is not compatible with IOS58?

As I mentioned earlier , one of my HDs (2 partitions) is no problem to use v9(IOS58)
    to load CFG.

Also I can load CFG by using v9 (IOS58) for the other drive if there is only one "NTFS"
partition (apps ,covers, games ... are all in it). The only problem was I split this HD
    into FAT32/NTFS and used v9 (IOS58) can't load CFG. (v9 with IOS35 is OK)

I have the loader installed as a channel but I need the sd card to load it. If the card is not in it boots me back to the system menu.?

Is the loader on sd or usb? If it's on sd then it will return to system menu for sure because the dol file was not found.

That's because it's a forwarder. They basically just point to the .dol file on your SD card.

hello, I wanto to install ios58 in order to install CFG usb loader channel, but don´t want to update to system menu 4.3, neither have internet connectin on my wii. As far I know, ios58 installer needs it. Is there any way to install ios58 without ios58 installer? a wad, for example?

today my system menu version is 4.1e (european wii)

    thanks in advance. regards

get ios58 wad with "NUS downloader" and then install it on your wii with YAWMM or with Multi Mod Manager...

    Dear FIX94,

first of all thanks for your CFG forwarders... I am using them from the very beginning... sincere compliments...

I have noticed a strange "behaviour" (bug?) in the v9 and v9b of your forwarders:
when the forwarder launches the loader, the CFG startup screen appears for half a second, then the image disappears and get back after a while....
this sort of blink affects both v9 and v9b... it does not affect v8....
Pay attention, both v8, v9 and v9b load CFG correctly... the only problem in v9 and v9b is this kind of startup blinking....

Notice also that I have the same problem with the latest WiiFlow forwarders (which are based on your code)...

I hope this info may be useful to you for the next v10 version of your forwarders...

    Thanks for your developing...

    by the way, I have a 4.3E PAL Wii, with IOS236 and cIOSX r21 d2x base56.....

Hey Cambo, thanks for the post, unfortunately I cannot change it because it would create this problem:
    http://gbatemp.net/t275487-official-cfg-lo...t&p=3430287
This change I did in v9 is that the apploader which will load the dol refreshes the video signal, this create this "behaviour". I will may find a better solution, because it's a bit annoying (my tv always says no signal for a second).

The v9b is using a updated NTFS lib, I added it because of this changes:
*Allow sector sizes other than 512 bytes per sector
*Use internal NTFS-3G device sync function to sync the device

Hmm so I've been having a problem with the forwarder.. I've tried both the regular and alternative WAD's you have on the first page, but to no success.. The regular just sends me back to the wii menu, where as the alt. just loads up to a black screen and stays there, I either have to pull my SD out (which is where I'm loading all this from) or reboot my wii. Now I want you to know that it all works via HBC, just not the forwarder. I do indeed have IOS58 installed. Hmm what else.. a 4.3U softmodded wii, all done correctly. And I have it in my SD:\apps\usbloader_cfg. And even put it in a file called boot.dol with the boot.dol file you have on the first page here for priiloader compatibility (sorry if the prii~ name is wrong, didn't feel like checking) just to see if it'd work. Nothing.. I guess as a last attempt to troubleshoot I'll try it from my hard drive, via the FAT32 partition then the NTFS (I believe that's what it is, might have mixed up the letters). If those 2 attempts don't work, I don't know what else I can do =/

Thank you, hope this all made sense
    Suarez, J.
