It says on the top that it is Boot2; but to my understanding, my Wii is installed as IOS.

Is it possible for me to install Boot2 BootMii in my console?
That would be fantastic news, but I somehow doubt this is what the meaning is.

    Please help anyone,

    Thanks.

its only saying what version of boot 2 you have, every wii has a boot2. it depends on boot 1 if you can install bootmii as boot2 or not, the hackmii installer will tell you if it can be installed.

Oh, well that is unfortunate, but not surprising.

I knew that every Wii had a Boot1, but I was not sure about a Boot2.

I got my Wii last easter, so I guess it is too new. I remember launching HackMii, it said that it could only be installed as an IOS.

Well, that is understandable; thank you for clearing that up for me mate.

    Cheers.

    Unfortunately,

    You are correct.

I just re-loaded HackMii using the HBC.

It says that the Boot1 version prevents me from installing BootMii as Boot2.

    Thanks anyway mates.
