Anyone else looking forward to october 10th as much as me?

Firstly we have The Orange Box which includes HL2:EP2, TF2 and Portal. I've been playing the TF2 beta all month and it's the best fun I've had online in ages. Episode 2 is meant to be more like Half Life 3 compared to what Ep1 was like, it has 10 hours of gameplay and previews of it have sounded very positive so far. Portal looks like the most tripped out puzzle game I've ever seen and I can almost guaranty it will be pure awesomeness.

Secondly we have Radiohead's new album "In Rainbows'. I've been looking forward to this for years and from what I've heard of it so far it will deliver the goods. The coolest thing about this album is that radiohead are releasing it on the internets and you can pay however much you think it's worth (even $0 if you wish) All artists should be doing this instead of putting spyware and rootkits on their cds to stop people pirating. I'll probably end up grabbing it on vinyl when it gets released in stores but the free official download will do until then

it's been too long already! Went to see them perform last summer when they were touring in London to show off workings of new material!

Already preordered it a long time ago and started preload some days ago. (although I probably haven't got enough free space on my harddrive to install it.

Half-Life 2 is amazing, so I can't wait for Episode 2. Some people are moaning about the price but the same people are willing to spend more money on lesser games. Pre-ordered it for £29.99 which I reckon is a damn good price for 3 games new games, even better if you don't have the others. As you said HL2 Ep 2 is suppose to be 10 hours, longer than most games and Team Fortress 2 will last just as long as TF1 and theres Portal! Some people are just whingers. Sadly its not out over here until the 19th but I'll get my new PC a few days before so thats not a problem.

Can't wait for Radiohead's album, its a shame that the physical release that I pre-ordered won't get to me until later in the year but at least I got a free download of their album.

I'm waiting for the 10th for Radiohead mainly indeed. I've been listening to demos of the upcoming In Rainbows album + awesome bootleg shows since months and I can't wait to download the album.

I gave 11£45 (around 17€). If I could I'd have given more but since I plan on buying the CD once it's out I think 11£45 is okay

I would of pre-ordered this shit, but then my laptop could only handle tf2. Maybe. Or not really. Meets everything except for the video card. And I want to play hl2 to see what makes it so great. Not going to even try to play it on a 360 since a pc would be much better.

God only knows when I will get my copy, I ordered a retail version (out 15th in the UK) but unless there is some divine intervation the postal strikes (every monday starting next week) will delay its arrival.
