It's using the Super Mario 64 port as a base.

I think that's neat, just like how the base for OoT N64 was SM64 N64. GitHub link to watch in the first post.

Coolio, I wonder how that's gonna turn out.

Especially against OOT 3D when also referencing on how the Mario 64 PC Port included stuff like improved textures, better camera control etc.
