i can not wait for this, even tho i have beat the VC of it, AND had the first release of it on the N64 (the one that has red blood) AND also beat master quest, i still want this one cause this looks to be the best one. if it also has master quest after you beat the game that will be awesome.

so glad i got my 3DS may 1st.

Some details

- characters still sometimes fade into view as you approach them
- interiors are now fully polygonal constructs
- Kokiri Forest shop now features a sign made from a giant leaf, bags of goods in the background, detailed posters on the far wall, a patterned rug and pots in the foreground
- can now equip 4 items (one to the X button, one to the Y button, and two to the touch screen)
- you can also activate your X and Y items by touching their icons on the touch screen
- first-person view toggled via touch screen
- move with circle pad, swing sword with B, perform actions with A, lock onto enemies with L, raise your shield with R
- Ocarina gets its own touch screen button and doesn't need to be equipped to use
- play Ocarina notes via the touch screen or face buttons
- call up the song list directly from the ocarina-playing screen
- Malon's room now features crayon drawings hanging from the wall, stuffed toys near her bed, flowers and other knickknacks on her nightstand, and a sketch of Malon and her dad on the wall behind some crates[/p]

From GoNintendo.

Finally I won't have to stop playing the Ocarina to then pause, then Z my way to the songs screen, then check the songs and then try to play the fucking song to realize that I looked at it too quickly and I forgot it.

^That's an awesome addition - when I first played Ocarina of Time, I was much younger, and I guess I had a very poor memory, because I could never get any of the songs right on my first try, except Zelda's Lullaby and the Song of Storms.

Gah, I can't wait for June to roll around.

Those are awsome, especially the touchscreen features sound really comfortable.

Additionally Amazon Germany includes the 3DS Legend of Zelda case for free if you preorder it (usually it costs 10 €)
So going to preorder

Stoked. Still a LITTLE disappointed that they didn't add any in-game text or music..

They had so much potential to expand upon the story of OOT.. Rauru and KG, a little more in-depth about the imprisoning war, a little more backstory on Ganondorf..

But I shouldn't gripe I guess, we're getting a 3D remade OOT.

I'd have to still say yes. What is that... A bit above $30 more? I got money to blow right now and if it were 70+ US dorra and a deal here I'd still go for it.

So my brother found a hosted version of the background - someone here might want it... you can also see if it you have javascript disabled when visiting teaser site.

Also, has anyone noticed that the "look around" function in the game is controlled by moving the 3ds around? This seems to be a good idea but it may also be very annoying... If you want to see this in action, head to the teaser site, second button (the one with the 3ds in the text) and click on the first video.

Also, don't be under the impression you get every single one of those bonuses, you get a single one based on how early you pre-order.

But anyway there seems to be some new info popping up about Master Quest, "Visions", and the game itself.

What's new?
Ocarina 3D is a ground-up remake with improved graphics that pop off the screen thanks to the system's 3D capabilities. The game also includes subtle improvements such as the addition of three differently colored lines on the walls of the Water Temple, which help lead the player to the locations where Link can play Zelda's lullaby to raise or lower the water level. Ocarina 3D will also include Master Quest, a Boss Challenge Mode, and Visions.

What exactly is Master Quest?
Master Quest is basically a remixed version of Ocarina of Time with a few new twists and turns added to the familiar dungeons to up the difficulty level. You can unlock it after playing through the main quest once. To further differentiate it from the original Master Quest (which was packaged in with Wind Waker pre-orders), this version has also been flipped (meaning everything that was once on the left is now on the right). This should provide a bit of a challenge for even the most hardcore Zelda fans.

What can I do in Boss Challenge Mode?
Boss Challenge Mode allows players to reface any boss they've already encountered as many times as they want. You access it by speaking to Link's bed in his tree hut in Kokiri Forest. This mode also records how long it takes you to beat each boss, so you can challenge your own times as well as those of your friends. Also, once you've unlocked all of the bosses, you can face them all one after another in a merciless fight to the death.

What's the deal with these 'Visions'?
Scattered throughout the otherwise familiar land of Hyrule are new stones called "Sheikah Stones." Crawling inside one of these bad boys gives you access to a series of visions, which are basically hint movies for the trickier parts of the adventure. You unlock these hints as you play the game, and while they don't exactly tell you how to beat each part, they give you hints to guide you on your way. These visions are completely optional, and the game even keeps track of which ones you've viewed and which ones you haven't, so you can easily prove to your buddies you beat the game without any help if you so choose.[/p]

Aside from Master Quest being flipped it also seems that enemies do a bit more damage according to "Zelda Dungeon" which will also reveal more info "later today and throughout the next few days."
The link also provides his or her view on the demo they played.

A bunch of impressions and some screenshots came out.

Nintendo World Report's
Gamesradar's
1up's
Gamexplain's
GoNintendo's

And

Screens

Here's a summary of the changes. It's still good to read the impressions, I like what I read.

- Dan Owsen one of the main members of the game’s localization team
- Three colors paths have been added to the Water Temple
- These paths line the walls of the temple, leading to one of the locations where Link can raise/lower the water level
- Some key doors are emphasised with a colorful border surrounding them
- After you defeat a boss, you can “relive its memory”
- Sleep in Link’s bed in Kokiri Forest to do this
- Boss battles will be timed, but play the same
- No online leaderboards
- Unlock Boss Rush mode by unlocking and defeating every boss again
- Fight through every boss, one after another
- Will be provided a power-up at the end of each fight, such as Deku Nuts or hearts
- Nintendo won’t say if there will be more rewards for those who complete Boss Rush mode
- Master Quest has now been mirrored
- In Master Quest, Link will hit with twice the damage from enemies
- Sheikah Stones can be found throughout the world
- The stones are like the Gossip Stones from the original game
- Crawl inside the Sheikah Stones to receive “visions” of the future
- Visions are pre-recorded snippets of footage
- 3-5 short clips that show what to do next
- Unlock the visions as you reach certain points in the game
- Visions may show you where to find heart pieces[/p]

Damn you, Nintendo. Why are you so difficult to say "no" to?

It's actually looking pretty good. I guess it's just people models they kept horrible.

The cow @ the treehouse looks wonderful compared to the original one. And that take where link is aiming the boomerang looks great too imo.

Forgive me, I'm a little tired and lazy to look through all the pages XD;;;, is Master Quest going to be something we have to unlock or will it be an option at start?
