Hardware o3ds vs 2ds vs new 2ds xl buttons

How does the new 2ds xl buttons feel? I have an o3ds and the buttons feel very stiff imo. I remember when I had the tryed the o2ds the buttons felt slippery and was easier to press. Is it more like o2ds or hoping not stiff like the o3ds?

My N2DS buttons are quite nice and smooth, not stiff at all but I guess after general wear and tear it'll happen.
