I don't like gadgets that have too many features ... just asking for trouble ...

I have my 32gb iPod Touch & my phone ... don't want 'em combined ...

Still a little steep for the hardware you get.

Still pointless if it's on contract.

You can "jailbreak" or whatever they call it.

Contract means that you still have to pay monthly.
Which is stupid seeing as you probably won't be able to get this phone for 170 quid unless you get some ridiculiously high contract.
So basically you're fooled into thinking you saved money but you actually didn't.

if i wanted to get a superior phone i would buy nokia n95 sim free and a psp has everything for hacking and stuff.

yeah tell me about it 8gb is nothing, even the 32GB ain't enough...i love my ipod classic though, if apple make a 80gb+ mp3 player with touch features i would buy it.

You can unlock other SIM cards to be used with it I think, so you don't have to take up the contract I believe.

I was confused with the jailbreaking which allows 3rd party apps?.

Yeah, but Jail breaking can potentially screw you over because you have to wait for some small scene group to make the next update "safe to download", which could take ages. It was annoying when I had to it with my PSP, which is just one out of many games consoles I have, I don't think I'd want to have to put the same restrictions on my phone, which is something I use almost daily.

How else do you get the phone? You pay £30 a month for a year.

Or, you buy an 'unlocked' one from eBay or other 'sources'.

Or, you buy one from France ... or another country that sells them unlocked ...

Yes, but I'm just trying to say that O2 and their iPhone price drop still makes the iPhone more expensive than a technologically superior phone.

I know you were ... there are plenty of better phones ... which will also take an HSDPA sim, too [IMG]

SymTorrent + SDHC + HSDPA = torrenting on the move [IMG]
