Nice! Better than Nicalis' one. Too bad that the two player mode was made by them.

I noticed that the level editor is not working. It opens, the game either hangs or just stops receiving inputs (can't tell). Oh, it uses mouse and a lot of key bindings on Windows. That's why, probably. Maybe just disable it?

I think custom levels loading is not working either?..

Interesting to know that it can be done this way. But I already have it purchased so there's that! Many thanks nevertheless!

Wish I had a hackable Switch. Though I love the game it is a little bit too short for the price, especially given I'd beaten it a few times on other platforms.

https://www.pcgamer.com/vvvvvv-goes-open-source-for-its-10-year-anniversary/ - why this game suddenly poped up as an opensource homebrew.

For a second I was really excited about this, but if you go to the repository on GitHub and check the license you'll see how the headline is misleading: the game is not "open source". The license imposes restrictions on redistribution, stating that you cannot sell the original or altered code in binary or text form, which goes against the definition of open source.

That said, it's nice that the source code was made public, even if it is pretty messy.

One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
