So Hitler Sony has been going the extra mile to gain wider indie support for their platforms. At GDC, a slew of announcements has been made for indie titles on their consoles.

The Playstation 4 will be getting two formerly PC exclusives: Primal Carnage and Blacklight: Retribution. Personally I only played Blacklight (which I thought was a pretty good F2P shooter with a solid F2P model).

The Playstation 3 will be getting Rain, Divekick, Spelunky, Sportsfriends, Ibb & Obb, Guacamelee!, Hotline Miami, Dragon Fantasy Book II, Thomas Was Alone, and Luftrausers. You may remember Rain from last year's Gamescom presentation, and after almost a year its finally reemerged.

The Playstation Vita will be getting Divekick, Spelunky, Velocity Ultra, Limbo, Metrico, Guacamelee!, Hotline Miami, Dragon Fantasy Book II, Thomas Was Alone, and Luftrausers. The big one here is Limbo, released three years ago, but making its first appearance on a mobile platform.

Make of it what you will. Personally I got a taste of Hotline Miami from a friend of mine and I really loved what I saw. The PS3/Vita version will feature crossbuy so for $10, it's worth the cash when it drops this summer.

Sony is really pushing indie games now, huh? Pfft, I liked them before it was mainstream.

Seriously, though, this is a good deal for everybody. Sony gets to bolster their games library, these developers get more exposure and sales, and consumers get more to choose from. It's a win-windie-win.

Great news. 10$ is extremely cheap for having cross play, this is what the video game industry needs to improve now

Wow, guess that they're just Stalin for some time.
(Really, only one worth a cent here is Limbo and just maybe Blacklight.)

Spelunky for PSN? Fucking mossmouth, give me a PC version so I don't have to turn on my console to speedrun that shit.

I've only heard of like, three of those... and there's a lot of titles there.

So... my conclusion is that the online shop has entry barriers lowered? Which is good for us and small devs.

Awesome, I seem to play indie games on the PC more than anything these days. I always thought it would be cool to see stuff like this on the Vita especially. I hope Sony pushes hard to get indie devs on board, I would love to have stuff like FTL and so on on my Vita.

I think there will be more support for indie devs on the ps4

Well the Vita seems to have finally found its niche as an indie game device. Already played most of the indie games elsewhere but I'll probably check out Hotline Miami on the Vita.

    Gotta love the indie love~
Sony continues to impress, may be about time to pick a vita up.
And really excited about indie support for PS4. I'd love to see a few other titles make their way onto the system.

It's also worth noting that Sony is getting rid of the Concept Approval step meaning that anyone who wants to develop a game can go right ahead.
Which makes things a lot easier for indie developers.

You guys this is far from shocking for if you consider that the ps3 has one of the greatest indie games of all time in "Journey". It would then be my contention that it is because Sony are just good like that.

Don't feel bad xbox and nintendo fans- Sony is just all round better. :D
