Hi guys,

A simple question but make me wonder too much.... lol
Looking for some nsp around i found out some have name game [numbers].nsp and others name game[website name].nsp, it is safe to install those with the web name? or i should look for the numbers ones? if so whats that number called?

I dont know why in my head thinks is a sure ban if you install with website names lol

Your wisdom is welcome

Thanks

Numbers are for updates. The easiest way to tell is by dividing the number by 65536. This number will not tell you what version of the update it is but the order at which it was released in. For example, a game that has been updated three times will have its third update labeled as 196608 but that doesn't mean its V3.0; this will vary on how the developer's label their respective updates.

Not sure about website names but I know scene releases have their dumps named after the group that released them. And since they lack numbers, these are the games themselves or DLC. Either way, both will likely lead to a ban so they don't make a difference in that regard.
