Have a friends NTSCU Wii here, should do some modding for him but I dont have a power adapter for it.

I do have a stepdown convertor 220- 110 volts but lacking the Wiis power adapter.

Before I fry it, I better ask.

Can a NTSC Wii be used with a PAL Wii´s power adapter?

BTW, I´ve seen universal power adaptors but all looked crappy so far, is there a official one too?

Yes you can, I bought a second power supply (UK this time) for my NTSC Wii and it outputs the same voltage as US one (and Japanese for that matter).

So my room has a US power supply with a step down converter I got with my GCN back in 2002 and my soon to be study/office space will have the UK official power supply.
Just need to find a component cable now

All wii hardware in all 3 regions are 100% identical. It's only the software that's any different (and hence why you can change regions

So yes, the PAL power adapter is 100% compatible with the NTSC wii.
